remember spi32 is prettymuch cpu/fsb/memspeed/timings.

if you can set your 775 board to 1 core instead of 2 or 4 that can sometimes greatly lower your temps and further the oc i couldnt on my rampage formula. but a REX can and a 790i with a nb pot can aswell.

high multi chips are kind of the key in this test.

I don't believe it'll last too long... but the red & white flag atop the leader board looks good

we need to get some more results in.
im pretty sure i can drop a solid bclock result sometime this month on my 1155 board but we need some more results that's the key the country that doesn't get all their results is practically forfeit.

if i had a 2nd 8800GTX i could prob stomp around in the sli comp aswell with a window open.

we have the cold air advantage right now :P in can.

Default 3DMark Vantage

Hello - first post!

I downloaded the free version of 3DMark vantage to check out my lowly GT430 to see if it would put up a score worthy of contributing to the Country Cup. With hardly any fiddling it seems to get into the world top 20 for some reason. Maybe I'm missing something, but there is not much to set on the free version.

It seems the the pay version is required to post scores to HWBot and when I attempt to upgrade it just sends me to a download page to (apparently) download the same install file I've already got.

I'm sure someone knows exactly what's going on here. Please help.

Thanks - V

Can you post a screen shot, or the link of your submission. You can still submit to HWBOT without the paid version you just need a screenshot showing all the things required by HWBOT. You will have to submit online with the free version but just put the result screen into your screenshot with the other requirements (CPUz, GPUz, etc)

Well I thought about trying to minimize the results webpage but it didn't look possible to get all the info plus the CPU-Z and GPU-Z stuff and show the required HWBot desktop. I'll try again with different zoom levels in the browser and see if I can make it work.

I also noticed that HWBot only has 23 results for Vantage for GT430's so maybe breaking into the top 20 doesn't mean much. It seems that Canada is short on results for that part of the competition though.

You should be able to put a shortened version of the results page and if you post the link that would help for validation on the HWBOT page. That is what I suspected, the 430 isn't exactly a popular piece of hardware for overclockers. The score is very welcome though for the competition, especially if there isn't one posted.

This is how I did it for 3dMark 11, just make sure you include a verification link all the specs & tests will be on there.

Thanks all. I'll make it work.

On another note...the HWBot contest rules were very clear about 1 result per stage per individual, but not really clear about possibly improving that result over the duration of the contest.

Absolutely you can submit an improved score, it will just replace the first one
