Default NovaBench Score on my FKD's new A10 Rig

Verified NovaBench Score: 778

Not sure how to interpret these results, but I'll put them out for others comment. This is the first Benchmarking software that seems to work smoothly in Windows 8 on my new rig. Will try my one time test with 3DMark and post it if it works.

My System Specs

Default NovaBench Score with CrossFireX enabled.

Opps - I forgot I had disabled CrossfireX in the Catatalyst Control Centre. Here are the results with both HD 6670's CrossFireX'd.

My System Specs

Default CrossFireX Results - lower graphics scores???

Interesting - enable the CrossfireX for the two HD 6670 and while there is a modest increase in the over all score 791 from 778, there is a significant DROP in Graphic performance

I get different results with every re-run of this Novabenchmark test. Most recent for graphics was:
Graphics Tests (Score: 160)
- 3D Frames Per Second: 482

Significantly different scores - with no difference in equipment or settings - what is the margin of error for these tests.

I also ran the GPU test at my full resolution of 4800 x 900 - 176 FPS on the short video that was run full screen. Not sure how that compares.

Default One more sample - but this one the best so far....

For what it is worth, here is the latest score - and best so far. I guess you just have to go with the average and range of scores. I'm looking at others scores on line to see where about my scores are coming. I'm particularly interested in the GPU ball park I'm in with these two HD 6670's in CrossFireX.

My System Specs

Default

So my video's FPS run between 450-500. When I look at the FPS averages for common GPU's https://novabench.com/gpuchart.php I notice that an average of 475 puts me in the league with

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 _________ 491
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 _________ 488
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 SE _________ 463
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series _________ 463

and the card I was considering
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series _________ 380

And when I looked for the HD 6670 I found that I was indeed getting twice the fps that a single HD 6670 delivers.
AMD Radeon HD 6670 _________ 225

So based on those results my "mistake" that resulted in my rig having two HD 6670's may not have been that bad.

I also tested the system at full 4800x900 resolution in one display over three screens. Then my FPS is 176 still a very usable fps for video games and video viewing I think.

My System Specs

Default Passmark 2367

Loaded another free trial benchmark - Passmark. Not sure what to make of all these scores.

When I'm doing this comparison thing I need to keep in mind the cost of some of these components that my system is competing with - often much more costly video cards or CPU's. ... but had I known then what I know now I probably would have made a few different choices.
