Default Strange speedfan reading.

Today I was running Orthos on my overclock E6850:
fsb-1600, cpu-3.6, vcore-1.376. memory-1066
Temps were cpu-45, core1-52, core2-52, mcp-43, I was watching the temps with speedfan and everest ultimate. After about 20 to 25 min I left the room for 10 or 15 and when I can back in both speedfan and everest cpu temps were 111C, core1&2 were 52. My pc didn't shut off or any thing but I did shut every thing down right away, restarted into the bios, cpu-29, mobo-27, mcp-41. Now Orthos has been running for over an hour and temps are, cpu-45, core1&2 52C. So, dose any one think there is a problem or that the 2 just messed up for some reason. Could 2 programs go wrong at the same time? If any 1 has any ideas lay'em on me.
Thanx.

It could just be a silly temp sensor reading. I have some that range from -206, to over 100 degrees. Some fans speed readings are above 120000 RPM. Some of the sensors work, but they are never really to be trusted.
