Post Overclocking Phenom ii 970 Questions

I have AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition Deneb 3.5GHz

I use ASUS Turbo-V EVO because i have the ASUS M4A88TD-V

Is it better to raise the CPU ratio on each core or change the CPU Frequency.

Also when is it appropriate to change the Voltages and what was the stock 970 black edition voltages?

Yea for those, do a combination of both. When I had AMD, I got a better performance by ocing both. ALso don't forget about NB frequency. With AMD they got 3 things going for, NB, Hypertransport and then the ratio.

What is hypertransport and what would be a good balance to get 4.0Ghz?

Can OC it all as mentioned above if you want to play around with everything. If you are a beginner to OCing then just increasing the cpu multiplier (should be ratio in that program) gets you 95+% or the performance with less hassle.
