8+4+2 power phase design okay for 2500k at 5ghz?
if so, i hope that an asus p8z77-v with the 8+4+2 power phase design would be okay for a 3570k at 5ghz hehe

Not all chips clock the same, to expect it I think is asking a bit much. 8+4+2 should allow a good clock out of it no problems, just make sure you keep the system/cpu well cooled to get the best chance at it :)
