Default Happy with my overclocking...

I'm pretty happy with my first really stable oc!!! I got my QX6850 up and running @ 3.6Ghz with core voltage set to 1.4v, fsb @ 400 mhz an multiplier @ 9... I know that chip can go further, but I haven't tryed to get it running at a higher rate since 3.6 ghz is perfectly ok with me !!! I hit about 28 degrees at idle and about 44 to 48 degrees at full load with prime 95 for 9 hours on air cooling.

Nice OC, Craig. But I predict you'll be happy for about 48 hours before you try to push that chip a little further.

How do you like your Merc Stealth keyboard? I was thinking about trying one.

Lol... yeah, I guess you might be right !!!!

I really like it... I think the gamepad is really sweet as well as the possibily to switch between 3 colors and intensity. I am having a little issue though ---> see this thread in the troubleshooting forum :

Nice board for gaming and is well built, but if you do much typing it's a pain in the ass because there are a few commonly used buttons that are piggy backed onto others and require a 'lock' key to use (like delete)

Thanks Craig and Babrbarossa for your feedback on the Stealth. While I like my G-15, I'm always looking for a new toy to try. And of the last dozen games I've bought, 8 are FPS's, so might be a good match.

Tried pushing your OC yet Craig? C'mon, you can probably hit 9x425, can't you?
^stoking the fire^ JK, there's not much out there that will outperform your system.
