About an hour's worth of tuning has yielded 1317 MHz on Lynnfield. I'm done for tonight, but I'll keep working on it over the next few days. I really want to get it over 1325 at least, although 1350 may be out of reach.

I should be able to put up a half-decent score with gulftown, the IMC in my 990x is hurtin but with some cold it shouldn't be too bad for a validation. Off work tomorrow so might try to get to NCIX for another AMD board.

I'm getting SFA with my setup for Max Memory. I couldn't even get my computer to post if I increased my fsb by more than 5mhz. Le sigh.

Is that the BBSE kit? CL7 seems pretty good for that Ripjaws set. Funny thing about the kit you were asking about before. They are 9-9-9 @ 1866 @ 1.65v, I have another Gskill Ripjaws kit that I picked up for $20 that are the same last four digits model number but rated 7-7-7 @ 1033 @ 1.5v. Same kit?

EDIT: Alright should have used the magic Google first. Those must be the Powerchip Pi or Ripjaws X, my 1033 set is actually BCSE, no idea on if BCSE is even any good, I thought they were just generic DDR3 until I looked at the timings vs volts for them. Looks like another set to warm up for Memory Clock stage!

Naw, the BBSE's are PC16000 CL9, although they can do DDR-2100 8-8-8-24-1T on stock volts in a 6x2 tri-channel config on my SR-2 even though they are just dual channel kits. It's real good stuff.

The CL7's are something else altogether. I bought them off zsamz_ specifically for clocking since I wanted to keep the BBSE's in my SR-2 build and not have to shut down folding to borrow the RAM for benchmarking.
