Do you run a stripped 7-x64? Or does it not make much difference from a fresh install, or are there too many things that need to be there to run PCmark7?

Nice run! I submitted mine as well

I think that mTrem hasn't set the Wprime to two cores. There is no way the Celeron 450 should be coming close to a X2 555 running two cores at 4400 Mhz.

Ok, got another wprime submission in.

Hardware news, Overclocking Competitions, Reviews

Just realized that I bumped out my own score though. Sucks wasting a 5.5g submission

I think that Gav777s sub knocked yours off anyway. His 2600K was faster, now we just need that good 8 core action and we are in not bad shape. I just have to find a good AM3 board to try out some Sempron action, although I can tell that if I could get the 450 to 5ghz (not likely) that it would likely outpace a Sempron.

Should a 2700k knock out a 2500k score? It is 8 thread vs 4 thread. Not sure how it works TBH

It only counts for cores, not threads. So a 2600K/2700K will knock out a 2500K because of the hyperthreading. Also why a Clarkdale for the 2 core will trounce just about any other dual core out there.
