How do I overclock my watercooled gtx285 vid card :-}

Finally after 4 months of having this water cooled gtx285 vid card sitting around I decided to install it, now I am embarrassed to admit that I am not sure how to do a stable overclock on this thing I want to over clock this card as high and as stable as possible then I can retry folding again

easy. open up furmark and let it rip

then use precision to up clocks slowly,starting with shaders.

dont touch ram.

This my old card? Well I definitely can't remember what clocks I had with it. But I'd just run Unigine Heaven for 10-15 minutes at a clock. If it works. Increase the core clock. Rinse. Repeat.

I personally use MSI AfterBurner (to set the OC) + Kombustor (to test). Nice little suite that integrates with one another.

I think that it is your old card .

so I should use precision to verclock ? how much to raise the levels before each test?

run furmark while raising.

dont stop it

_dangtx_ July 30, 2011 01:38 PM

Shadowmeph July 30, 2011 05:14 PM
