I use triple SFF21Fs on my IFX-14 to cool my E6400 - they do a great job.

I just got two of the new Noctua NF-P12 fans....and it looks like they give me a 2C advantage over the older NF-S12 on the same RPM's. That counts for a single fan on a Noctua NH-12F. These fans are great for heatsinks with very tight spaces between their fins....

Quiet as a whisper. But don't base your decision on my choice. From what I read, the Noctuas are better to the task then the Scythes. I don't know much about HSF-fans combos, I know more about radiator-fans combos...

So we didn't have much time today, did this on our 30 min lunch break. My buddy decided on 2.6GHz OC. So went into the BIOS set the FSB to 260, upped the vcore from 1.25 to 1.30 to deal with the vdroop issue. We manually set the mem multiplier to 3.2 which put the memory to 832MHz and set the timings to 4-4-4-12 2T and the sub timings on auto Set the memory voltage to 2.1v. The machine booted but then threw a memory error once Windows XP loaded.

Went back into the BIOS and set the memory multiplier to 3 which set the memory to 780MHz and set the memory settings to auto. Rebooted the machine and ran SuperPI, no problems, ran an instance of Need4Speed Hot Pursuit and the temps were around 45C.

Currently CPUz shows the the vcore at 1.26. During the Need 4 Speed game, he said he notice a noticable difference in performance and visuals.

Yeppers and he's more than happy with this OC. Next he's replacing the 7900 GS XT with an 8800GT.

Default Mem clock

Bumped the mem up to 866. running solid, noticable improvement over the 780. Left the mem timing at auto, Charlie what mem you using at 1000. I'm not using any ram cooling right now.
