Default what the hell

ok well my bclk lowers when setting my multi wow cause so far i can't overclock my 2600k at all and i am using a sabertooth p67 b3 so any help i have been overclocking for years my guess is i am missing something simple

So when you go into the bios the only thing you change is the multi and when you go into windows the bclk is lower?

Just want to be sure.

Also maybe just try the OC tuner within the BIOS to see what it comes up with for you. It is under the AI tweaker tab in the bios.

yup thats it and when i try the oc tuner it does nothing. kinda weird eh

even if i set the multi to 100 it changes which is nuts to me

Never had this problem with my Sabertooth P67 B3. Clear the CMOS and see if it is still doing this. Also, make sure the board has the latest BIOS as well, although the B3s should have all shipped with the most current one (at the time).

Very strange...I've had no such issues on my Sabertooth P67. Have you tried maually entering 100 MHz as the base clock in the BIOS?
