Default EVGA Precision not loading at boot

Running version 2.0.3 on my GX560Ti, with forceware drivers 270.61 and have the checkbox ticked to 'start with windows' and to display temps in the tray only, but nothing appears in the sys tray at bootup, even running the app manually doesnt show the temp there, and checking my startup progs with CCleaner shows nothing.
Are you guys aware of any bugs with 2.0.3 or am I unlucky? All i mostly use it for is proper fan control, is MSI Afterburner better at it?
running Win7 64bit.

I haven't used precision in ages, so I don't know if they've implemented any new fan control features. However, I'm using Afterburner on my GTX560Ti's and the fan control is really good. You can set a fan curve in the settings (fan speed vs. temp).

I have no problems with Afterburner...maybe give it a try.

reinstall the program, right click run as administrator, also you can try adding a shortcut to the prog to the startup folder in your start menu, but this wont help if the program doesnt even start manually

It does start manually, just didn't work properly. Running Afterburner now, looks awfully similar to Precision setup window! But it's got a nice big graph.

Yup...afterburner should look familiar. It's developed by the same guy that makes RivaTuner and Precision. ;)

Yeah.... Afterburner is my current "go to" GPU OC app. The only benefit I've heard of for precision over AB is that precision allows the shaders to be de-linked, but I haven't personally seen proof of that.

Been running Precision for a few yrs now, no issues at all. Sounds like your missing something in the set- up.
