My System Specs

Default Strong will system

Ok I got my new rig running nice and smooth but for one thing, it simply refuses to get OC'ed no matter what. It won't even let EVO auto tunning OC it a bit. I had this software running on my AMD rig and it was working decently well, meaning that I could get from 3.2 to 3.8 without any hassles.

With this system the minute I try to OC it with EVO it freezes no matter what, I tried to do it manually but I was too aggressive and had to use the jumper to clear CMOS. I don't know maybe it doesn't like my ram which are Hyper X 1600 9-9-9-24 1.65v.

Any idea

All you should have to do is set your CPU voltage to 1.3v and your ram to whatever it says on the side or manufacturers specs then just slowly up the speed.

I ran a 2600k on a h50 overclocked and it was fine.

68-75 is too tho and should be lower.. I'd check your fan arrangement on the H50 or reseat it.

the h50 is not exactly the king of coolers, so those temps under certain conditions might be within the normal range.
