PCIe setting can help stabilize things. At the very least set it to 100(not Auto)...but 101 can help. On my soon-to-be replaced ASRock 775 Dual VSTA, i set PCIe to 117MHz, and it allows me to top out the FSB at 297(not bad for this chipset). Luckily..i can get away with 117 no problems, because i'm still using an AGP graphics card. Assuming your Ballistix use D9GMH or D9GKX IC's, you should be okay with 2.25-2.3v(with a fan on then) and a bit higher for benching/screenshots... but not long-term(consider that OCZ's D9 DIMM's are rated at up to 2.3v-2.4v + 5%{EVP}). ***As usual...do so at your own risk.***

I ran into a similar problem initially with my E6750 couldn't get it past the 3.4 but once I actually figured out how to increase my CPU Core voltage it is now 12 hours stable with orthos at 3.6ghz

Agreed on Not Auto; I always set it to 100MHz. It's from the old AGP days, when you had to lock the PCI freq to 66MHz... I set it to 100MHz and forget about it!

did that, but I agree it needs to be said. They labeled it wrong, should be "unlinked" or "linked"
