Default Overclocking on a r2e

Hello

I have a question on what is being overclocked when running memory at 2133, but the cpu stays at 133x21.

Would it be better to increase 133 setting to 152x21 and memory at 2133 or stay with 133x21 2133.

I just got Crucial 6gb 2133 ram and just updated the bios on the r2e to 1914 version.

Odd thing with the new bios, before to run memory over 1600, overclocking the cpu was required. 133 setting had to be increased. With the new bios 1866 and higher on memory can be done without changing 133 setting.

Not sure if I will much change with this new memory since Muchkin would do 1866 with 1.65volt 7-8-7-24 N1.

Any of that clear?

Is the qpi being over clocked?

Sure is much different than the old 775 days.

i am thinking it's the imc ( voltage is set too 1.35 automatically ) to run memory at this speed and it just up the multiplier of said ram look at voltages to see
