Smile Just bought a i7 950 with a P6X58D-E Mobo

Need to overclock for 24/7 use.

Any suggestions. I am on a nice custom WC kit. And would like to OC about 4.2G

I like the rough and lazy method. take the BCLK to 180, set the voltage to 1.25, make sure your rams within spec (or atleast going to post) then go ahead and prime95 it. If it's stable, try more, if it's not try less.

I would recommend the slow and steady method as opposed to jumping right in without knowing any info on your chip and how much VTT/Vcore is needed. I recommend using the guide below and start off small and work your self up.
