My System Specs

Default GTX 460 Overclocking

Hey guys,

What are you overclocks on your GTX 460's?

Please state:

1) GTX460 768MB or 1GB
2) Brand
3) Core/Memory OC - 900/4000
4) Voltage

I'll start off...

GTX 460 768MB
MSI Cyclone
900/4000
1.012V

How bout you? Do you think I can OC it higher?

My System Specs

Default

Lets see mine is currently like this:

GTX 460 1GB
EVGA SC EE
844 core (default is 763)
1010 (4040) memory (default is 950)
1.02V
Drivers: 258.96

I'm sure I could go higher, I just haven't really tried much. And now considering it will be going back for my step up to the 580 I don't really want to push it too much.

My System Specs

Kinda reviving a dead thread for in intents and purposes. However I decided to finally overclock my Msi 460GTX 1GB Hawk today.

Stock Speeds are: 780/1560/1800 Vcore/Shader/Memory

Currently set at: 1000/2000/1900

I can go higher, do not get any artifacting while stress testing it with the max temp being 46. I am running the fan at 75% while gaming. 35 D idle.

Fan on Auto 35-36 idle. I know there is more headroom in the card, I don't want to get crazy with the overclock. I only adjusted the voltage by +20 on vcore and memory. I did not apply the voltage tweak
to get up to +200 (default is +100).

Great performance gains.
