Default My 8800 Ultra/ E6600 Clocks

So ever since ive gotten my 8800 Ultra ive been scared to Overclock my 8800 Ultra. Well i thought what the h*ll and im now overclocking it. Im using ATI Tool to Stress Test it. Im not sure if that is good enough, what should i use to stress test it? Here are my current Clock settings and Temps.

Core: 621 MHz
Memory: 1089 MHz
Temps: 74c (While Stress Testing)

And yesterday i did a big OC on my E6600 (On air) here are the settings:
Clock @: 3.42 GHz
Voltage: 1.55v
Temps (While stress testing w. Orthoes): 53c
Idle Temps: 26c - 30c (My CPU gets hot when i stress test the Ultra because the Ultra is a fireball)

Let me know what you think, or if you have any tips, let me know

As long as you don't see any random pixels on the ATITool cube thingy, then you can keep boosting your video card However, you want to set that drop down box to Performance 3D, not 2D... Overclocking 2D is rather pointless. And if you update to the latest RivaTuner you can overclock the shader too.

Thats a ton of voltage just to get 3.42GHz on your E6600. I can use stock voltage to get that. But your temps are fine so I see no reason to worry.

Like stated above Try the new Riva now you can Change the Shaders with out having to edit the bios . So you wil have 3 slider bars to play with =) . For a stress test , if you want to know if the card is 100% stable run 3dmark 01 Nature with no title screens looped 25 times . If it does that then it is stable . But if you are just ocing for temp to do bench marksjust keep going till it crashes =)
