What's your CPU cooling? 1.425V for 3.4 may not be enough. You need to set the volts higher. Loosen the Ram timings to 5-5-5-18, 2.1V and try again. Watch those CPU temps, threshold is the usual 60C under load. John

This CPU seems to have a high sample variance. Some will hit high 3'sm while others seem to struggle to stay stable at 3.0 GHz. What's your FSB:RAM ratio? Make sure you pull it down to 1:1 while you're trying to find the CPU's limit. You're using that chip's 10x multiplier, right? Have you tried a higher FSB and lower multipliers? The board/chip might have a FSB hole in the low 300's. You might consider pulling the FSB into the high 300's, lowering the multiplier as necessary.

Can you resize them? They're just too small. Also, HWC has its own image host server, located at Vb Image Host.

Looking really good! Temps are fine under load, for 3.0GHz. But if you really want to push it, you need to change some of your settings. Like MpG stated, try the 9x multi instead of the 10x. Start at 300 FSB, raising slowly up to 380 FSB. That will give you 3.42 GHz. Also change your ram timings to 5-5-5-18-32 (really loose timings) to remove the Ram from the oc equation. Once the CPU oc is complete, you can then work on the Ram timings. What's your CPU cooler? Cause' you'll have to watch those CPU temps since you will have to raise the Vcore to reach those speeds, if you do reach those. OC'ing is a hit-and-miss affair. You can even try a 8x multi, looking for 425 FSB (feasible on a lot of boards). John
