My System Specs

Default OC 955BE with m4a79xtd evo mobo

hey guys i have my machine OCed to 3.6 but cant get it stable above that. I go into the bios to try and change the vcore but it doesnt accept anything other than AUTO. I want to reach a minimum of 3.8 possibly 4.0.
running prime95 at 3.6 with vcore of 1.33v for 4 hours and staying 47c.

im running

proc- amd 955BE
mobo- m4a79xtd EVO
ram- corsair ddr3 1600
heatsink- hyper 212+
psu- ocz fatality 550w

how are you checking voltages/temps? 3.6 is not bad at all.

use everest if possible.

im using pc probe2 and amd overdrive, like to double check 2 different programs to make sure the temp and voltage corroborates

EDIT: I think the voltage is locked in the bios i'll try and get a closer look at the mobo and see if I missed in pins to unlock it in the bios. the mobo manual bios looks different than what my bios actually looks in the jumper free configuration tab so I dunno, any help would be much appreciated thanks all.

Up your Cpu vcore to 1.45v,raise multi but keep bus no higher than 200 if u want stability,Check this out:

well the problem i"m having is that for some reason bios wont let me raise the vcore. I can hit the +/- buttons but it wont set. I hit enter it clears the vcore back to AUTO, is there any other way to get the voltage to set without hit enter?

Try setting all CPU/DRAM tabs to manual,if it still does'nt help try upgrading Bios
