Default Prime95 question

I'm messin' around with some OC'ing on the Widow 980x and when I go to run Prime95 I get this (see pic). What I'm not sure of is, is this because my OC is unstable? This has been happening on a few occasions, even when my OC was mild and appeared stable in everything else I threw at it including Everest, LinX and any games.

Any thoughts?

That looks more like prime95 freezing or having conflicting issues with windows itself rather then a stability issue there. Try re-downloading/installing it and see if this happens again

Try running as administrator? UAC off?

But it doesn't happen all of the time? If that's the case then I'd suspect there is an instability of some form. I've run prime95 under win7 ultimate 64bit without any problems. Is there a particular time frame that it seems to happen in?

I am running as admin with UAC off and it seems to usually happen at the start of Test 2 for the 80000 run......I think I will try dl'ing and installing again and see what happens

Try memtest...maybe prime95 is hitting some bad ram that your other utilities are not. Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Thats what I meant, I don't think its the OC only because nothing else stops or freezes, I just close out Prime and carry on, everything else is fine.

Yeah, if it's happening at pretty well the exact same spot all of the time, pretty sure it's the OC.
