My System Specs

Default My 75W PC

And when I say 75W I mean under LinX load.
The system consists of the following:
Pentium G6950 @ 2.8GHz, 0.94Vcore, 1.05Vtt, 1.0Vgpu.
Gigabyte H55M-USB3
2x1GB of Kingston Value DDR3 @ 6-6-6-24, 1.3V.
40GB X25-V
1TB Seagate 7200.12
RocketRAID 2314 'RAID' card
1050W Enermax Revo85+

This is the system idle.

And the system under LinX load. Assuming 80% efficiency of my PSU, I am using a whopping 6% of its power.

Now I also have another 8 HDD's (1.5TB 7200.11's) that are in an external enclosure. And these are the power figures w/ them on and spinning.
Idle.

LinX load

Not to shabby for a 9 HDD machine.

It would use even less power if you swapped the PSU. I'd be surprised if the Enermax is even 80% efficient at the loads you're running. Most likely 70-75%.

I was thinking the same thing... PSUs aren't as efficient with low loads as they are with medium loads.

Ya I am aware of this. I have a 420W Seasonic M12D that I'll likely throw in at sometime. I just used the Revo+ because I had already cut extended all the cables to fit this case perfectly.

Would you mind trying to fold with that? I've been curious about the PPD on that CPU, but haven't been able to find anything.

420W M12D? That doesn't exist.
