Because I wasn't trying to turn this into a discussion about how temperature measurements and specifications are handled with regard to Intel CPUs. In any case, the information is fairly easy to find either by searching for my posts or simply looking it up yourself.

I never said "NOT RIGHT". As for trusting Intel's word over mine, that will not be necessary. My comments are coming straight from Intel. People who quote the thermal spec as a maximum temperature are not contradicting what I am saying, they are merely misinterpreting the significance of that value (which has absolutely nothing to do with the maximum safe temperature).
