Default Temperatures on an x2 555

I'm relying on TMPIN0 for my X2 555's temps, but should I interpret the actual core temperature to be higher, or lower ?

Right now I'm idling at 38 and maxing at 63 under prime95 small FFTs. It was unstable at 1.4v offset, I brought it to 1.42v manual and it's stable, however I'm still concerned about the temps.

Ideas ?

Well I would have accurate sensor readings if it wasn't unlocked, but then that's not the point I guess .

Lowered voltage to 1.41, cpu-z shows 1.440. Load temp dropped to 60 under prime.. got 3 degs back.
