Default Odd Sensor readings.

Well, I have been overclocking my Machine for the first time, and after increasing the voltage a couple times, I got some weird readings.

I am sure everest and core temp are the accurate ones, but I am not sure how much I can trust them.
As you can see, speed fan and the Asus probe both have extremely low temps (26/27)

Also the Asus probe's voltage reading is normal until I open everest, then it shoots up to 2.3.

What should I do.

System specs would help a lot, CPU and cooler especially. As for Asusprobe, don't use it...

Everest, Coretemp, Speedfan, blah blah.. I find none of them are accurate at all! Coretemp shows I'm running 3.8ghz and Everest shows I'm at 3.4 and both show completely different temps!

I have an E6420, stock cooling, P5n32-E and 6400 Buffalo firestix.

If they all suck, how do I check my temps?

I personally use Coretemp. What's your CPU voltage in the BIOS?

hahaha you take a rough guestimate but I've found everest to be the most accurate.

Coretemp shows my machine running @ 3.8ghz when its at 3.4 so I know its not accurate.

Well, I am mainly sticking with core temp because it give me the highest reading, and I want to be on the safe side.

~50C looks about right. Not much oc you can do with the stock HSF. My E6400 used to run with an Arctic Cooling 7Pro. Very little good cooler - the CPU was oc'ed to 3.43, and the load temp while folding were ~55C (test bench setup).

For 25$, you can't go wrong....

Coretemp seems to be the best temp indication of all of them, but there is an issue with how it reads freq (I think it just does a FSB X normal multiplier which is why we can end up with higher than actual freq readings).

Something else to keep in mind is that there can be issues with the CPU sensors themselves... I just had to swap the CPU between my bench rig and my main rig because the bench rig was reading too low.
