Exclamation EVGA GTX260 hitting 85-90C temps?

So I am not sure what has happened but all of a sudden my temps are a lot higher lately. And my card hits 85-88C During Furmark tests
So is that a safe temp to game at? i know I don't have to OC soo high. But I really need the extra performance I get in some games?
I don't leave it that those speeds all the time, Only during some games. So tell me what temp should i start to worry about? Because according this page;
http://www.nvidia.com/object/product...tx_260_us.html

Max temps are 105C
So I am still under that temp. But were should I start to back things down?

Yeah, make sure you don't have the (now removed) latest driver version.

Are you using EVGA Precision, if so what is your fan setting set to, please tell me not auto (which is typically about 30%)

If your card get's hot in furemark then it's normal the software have been made for THAT! just be sure she never passe 85-87 when you are long time gaming and you will be safe.

I keep my card in the 70s and low 80s. Try firing up Precision, setting your fan speed to somewhere between 60 and 80%, and see what kind of improvement you get from that.

Yes, don't leave your fan setting on "Auto." When I run Furmark, I always set the fan setting to 100% because it really stresses your video card.
