G0 vs B3 X3210 results
So, I had a B3 X3210 I had used for a bit, and was perfectly happy with. However, it would get quite warm, up near 70, which got me nervous. So I got my hands on a G0. Here we go. All I have is my desktop print-screens, which should work. For some reason Coretemp is being dumb and not launching on my screen, so it only appears in my task manager.
For testing purposes, I have the B3 at 2.8GHZ, 1.275V in Bios, 7x multi. Cooling is handled by my Swiftech Apex Ultra Plus, full system watercooling setup, with the chipset and 8800GTX in the loop.
The G0 is at 3.2GHZ, 1.25v in the Bios, with a 8x multi. So far 7 hours stable, and I have yet to test on lower voltage. I literally just poped the CPU in! Temps are great!! Under 50 degrees full load, with a 8800GTX and the chipset in the same loop! I'm definitely happy.
To save some headache grab Prime95 v25.3 so you only need 1 program for stressing :)
Hmm, maybe I will try that. Running 4 instances of Prime is starting to piss me off!!
Is there a good way of fixing the pics I added? Cause the way they are now, it is hard to view the temp values and what not, the font is too small! Help?
For the future, group your desktop windows close to each other and then use a screen cap program to select a "rectangle" which includes what you need to show.
Nice temps though!!!
nice improvement
Where did you get your G0 x3210?
I got my G0 from my workplace, FrontierPC. I ordered a few for some of my customers, and they were all coming in as G0, so I ordered one for myself, yup G0. Looks like most of the stock is all G0 now, including the Q6600's we stock too.
Here's a better link.
