My System Specs

Default Quick Simple question

I bought a used E6600. there seems to be a "spot" on the bottom "pins"

Im sure it will easily clean off. I do not want to damage the chip. Can I use Alcohol and a Lint free cloth?

OR ?????

Thanks, and sorry for posting here, but I JUST Got the chip and am eagar to install. This area seemed to have the most viewers lol.. :)
