I hope you realise that your Vcore is way above safe levels. If you don't care about the longevity of your CPU, then that's a pretty nice overclock.

I'm most impressed by how far you've managed to push that RAM! Nice!

Okay - I admit, I'm most impressed by the desktop image. I'm second-most impressed about the RAM!

It's not way above... max should be 1.45Vcore. He has it at around that. I'm more concerned about his VTT and NB volts. Oh don't forget the temperatures too..

How's system stability?

The maximum is 1.4V if you take into consideration the 50mV voltage overshoot specification.

50mV overshoot?

I know the vtt and nb overshoot a little, but not the core.. (at least not much on mine) and you have to consider the droop as well (though the droop is excellent on the maximus')

Droop isn't really a concern because you don't have to worry about the voltage going too low (outside of stability issues, but at least that won't harm the CPU).

How's system stability?

The vtt was set at this only because these boards are so stubbern with 500fsb... as soon as you get close to the magic 500 the board hit a wall and becomes very unstable with a quad... memory also plays a large roll in this, I also seemed to get better resaults with 2202 bios and a 5:6 dram:fsb ratio idk if this a sweet spot but it worked for me.

only thing that was really a pain was setting the gtl's and understanding the logic around it once that was set every fsb clock from 472 all the way to 500fsb became stable will alittle vtt voltage.

temps are in the 80's but there not to abnormal for a quad at 4.2ghz on air cooling at 100% load. My I7 was always in the 90's under prime at 4.418ghz I only had the vcore at 1.3875v and it never died on me it still kickin in my brother system at the same settings.

The for sure voltage I know that is proven to fry cpu is pll over 2v.
