Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows what the percentages mean? By default all cores are set at -2%, I heard that negatives conserve power and produce less heat while positives give more stables OC's, is that the right idea or is it something completely different? Or is it completely useless? Does anyone know a 'golden' setting for this?
Core 0 on my phenom 550 x4 produces an error every time if I lower vcore by 0.125, would a positive % get it stable? I can't read my temperature in unleashed mode, but the cpu socket reaches 46*C max on occt on a stack cool 2 mobo, how much of a difference would there be in the actual core 0 temperature, and would a higher percentage (if that's the correct way to go) raise the temperature of core 0 significantly over other cores or will the heat spread throughout the die?
TIA
