^^^ Read the previous Post "carefully" ....vCore vs vTT...besides 82c under full LinX load isn't anything to get concerned about, certainly wouldn't rush out to purchase all WC parts thats for sure. A DO Chip would certainly be justifiable though ;)

Anyhow, as I determined 8 months ago, the difference between 4 Ghz and 3.83Ghz considering the amount of additional vCore and increase in Temps isn't worth it.

If your referring to my Post.....I am using a TRUE (Push / Pull)
As for te DO Chip, thanks I was completely unaware of the reduction in vCore required for a DO vs CO/C1 Chip

When I built my Rig a year ago thier were no DO Chips and I'm well aware of what my OC'ing capabilites are.

If your referrng to the OP then kindly disregard

I have been fiddling a lot these last few days and I just can't seem to get it stable at 4gz, going to have to check the first template I used to hit it and try that one again, but currently sitting at 3.86ghz and stable
my temps are around 67 - 72C on full load which is fine by me with my current cooling setup the temps drop to around 63 - 65 if my ambient temp in the room is a little cooler but the room I am in is a little small for all the electronics I have as long as I
don't turn on my Onkyo 607 the ambient stays down but man when wife is watching TV or a movie that Onkyo produces some major heat, the only flaw in them IMO.
will post some new screen captures soon, and still trying to hit 4ghz stable with temps lower than 80C

on a different note whats the max temp you would want your gpu to get to mine while playing Crysis or MWF2 is getting up around 75C in my obsidian with the fan running at 75%, for noise reasons I don't want to go higher than that.

Imo...thats as warm as I'd want it to get when gaming.......under full Testing Load you shold be considerably higher than when gaming. Don't be surprised if you need a significantly higher Vcore to get from 3.8 to 4......
Have fun ;)
