Default Kentsfield and the 680i advice

So now that i have my chiller functional im actually gettin to OC my 6700 finnaly....WOOT
I can get a stable 3733.1 MHz @ 1.5v and 13C idle temp
However i cant seem to push the FSB up at all.....should i not be able to get a little something out of it?..
what are you guys getting?
and how?
What should i be looking for regarding memory ?
is it even worth worrying about it since i cant budge the FSB at all ?
Here are a couple pics of before and after OCing

BEFORE OC

AFTER OC'ing

Grats on the overclock as is.. it's sweet. The lack of FSB almost makes me cry though... you are not able to increase it at -all-? I assume you cranked your NB voltage a little?

I doubt your memory is the problem... it's very high-end. You -could- tweak it to at least 4-4-4-12-13 (cas trcd trp tras trc) 1T 2.1v. That still won't make much of a difference compared to higher FSB though. I'm not -that- familiar with that board, but do you have the latest BIOS?

Yeah-- evga tech jacob made it sound like the fix would be along within a couple of days, but it's been almost two weeks since he announced it. I guess they wanna keep selling the boards to quad core owners.

Yah right.
This is one of the reasons that I dont particularly like Evga mobo's they are far from quick to do bios updates and when they do most of the problems arnt fixed.
Like fix the memory issues dont just add CPU support, that doesnt fix **** IMO.

It seems that this time, though, while they did release the mobo prematurely (as companies usually do), they have already released 4 bioses in just a couple of months, and while they haven't quite got it right yet, they seem to be putting in a valiant effort, and I have to say that their customer service is good.

edit: just to rave on a bit further- I do really like my 680i and have never had trouble with it. The new bios has helped me bring my overclock from 3.2 to 3.4, and the components all seem to interface well together on this board for me-- I don't think you could reach 10.5k on 3dmark06 with another motherboard with my components.
