My System Specs

Default Low score on Windows 7???

Has anyone made the switch to Windows 7 and found them selves with a much lower 3dMark06 score?

I had Vista Home Premium 64bit and had a score of 21K +

Now with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit I have a score of 16K ish.

What in the world is going on here? Did I miss something or wasn't Windows 7 supposed to free up a lot of issues.

I've googled my problem and found that a number of people have had similar problems. But no real answer to why.

Got any ideas? or have I gone mental?

Don't have a real answer, but if every system running with 7 are slower in 3Dmark, I will not worry. This benchmark is not a reflect of real application .

Oh I could not agree more. I know how capable my system is.

It's just sad to say my original scores may no longer apply.

I pulled 23k with my 2 4870's in Windows 7 with ease. This was with default driver settings on a relatively old install of W7. I can post an ORB link if you'd like.
