I'll try out what you got there rjbarker. Yes I do have an EVGA X58 3x SLi board with Corsair Dominator 1866mhz ram. I have it set to 2:10 which says 1333 but its running at 1763 from the looks of it.
Really Arinoth 1.35-1.375? Hmm that seems really high :S

Not really. Most C0/C1s need 1.4V Vcore to hit 4+ GHz OC. Anything 1.4 and lower is still safe for the cpu and well its not a D0 so you can't mirror your OC to a D0 one since C0/C1s just plain need more Vcore and Vtt.

Not enough Vcore for a C0/C1, you need about 1.35 -> 1.375 V typically
Not true at all......for 3.6 - 3.8 Ghz even a C1 Chip (which I have) may not require that kind of Vcore....!!

To OP....you have 1866 Mhz Ram...then go ahead and try my settings. .....with 1866 Mhz ...you should be able to find the "sweet spot" running your RAM at stock.

There are some golden C1 chips though, mine needs 3.375 to be stable at 3.8 GHz to do big adv wu's

Mine requires 1.31875v. and +125mv Vtt..stable at 202 Blck x 19 Mult (no turbo).....maybe its a great chip...no idea.....any less Vcore will not pass LinX....I spent a lot of time finding this "sweet spot"...
30 passes Linx and 18 hrs P95......

Big Adv Work Units also stress the cpu and OC more then LinX does, its the ultimate OC stress test but really only need to stress test it that hard if you are folding on it (kinda the double edged sword)
