You shouldn't be having problems. Could just be a bad NB or chip that doesn't like OCing. Try using the lowest multiplier and see how far FSB can go, then you can see how far you can go by upping the multiplier.

the trouble... was that i'm a fledgling OC'er lol

i discovered how to downclock the memory to compensate for the FSB increase

now have the thing running at 3.3Ghz (300x11) at stock 1.28 voltage =D

gonna leave it there for a bit and see how she does. thanks for the help guys...
