My System Specs

Default Maximum safe VTT for I7 860

I never played around before with that so does any one what the maxx VTT a I7 860 can handle?

I dont think anyone can say for sure. I run mine at 1.35v 24/7 and it's fine thus far.

I think I will use myself as a guinea pig and see if high the vtt I need to get stable at 4Ghz can kill my 860:) if yes then...will be time to contact intel if not...great:)Thx Eldonko always nice to have your opinion;)

I know a few guys that run close to 1.5v for VTT and their chips are still alive. I dont recommend doing that but still, I think alot of people are paranoid. Intel chips are tough, Ive never killed one, ever.

The overclocking rule is this: Overclocking in general is a risk, if you cant afford to lose hardware then dont do it. :)
