Gigabyte GA-P35DS3 Overclock E4500 Weird problem
 

So I've got the set up like this
Gigabyte GA-P35DS3
E4500

Stock voltage
9X Multiplier
333FSB
2gb 667 Ram overclocked to 800mhz

The BIOS states the CPU speed is 3.0GHZ on the dot

But on Windows it shows as 3.66 in System information for both cores.

Also the settings seem to revert randomly back to stock and I get 2.20 GHZ, battery replacement time?

Tried to clock the ram back to 667 but still shows up as 3.66ghz in system, but board thinks its 3.0ghz. I'm definately not ready to handle the temps of 3.66 with this cooling.

While I'm here whats an easy to snap into cooling fan for this CPU? I don't want to take the board out again

since you OC your system ..you should use CPU-Z
