I5 750 Problem

Hey guys, I just got my new build set up 2 days ago and began overclocking my i5 750 but I seem to have run in to a snag at 161 BCLK. No matter what voltage I input, anything passed 161 results in W7x64 not booting at all. I was under the impression that these CPUs OC very well and respond well to volts. Any help would be appreciated.

ASUS P7P55D
i5 750
Noctua U12P-SE2
Ripjaws PC3-12800 8gb
Sapphire HD 5850 x2
WD Black 1TB
Win7 64x

Thanks in advance guys!

Are you using manual OC in the BIOS , or you try it with the turbo V EVO ?

Go for gusto and just jump to 200BCLK. My setup is almost identical to yours with the exception of ram. We have the same coolers, board, chip and video (ive got a 5870). Ive got some tweaking to do still as the voltage is pretty high, but the temps are fine (65 under load). Will be getting an EK waterblock soon so i can get my watercooling loop running properly.

Tried 200 BCLK and 1.47V but that results in black screen no post.
