Default Overclocking Pentium D820
hey guys just need some help and advice:

i have some old stuff and i was trying if i can get overclock to these:
i have pentium D820, Asus p5b-vm DO motherboard and corsair 2GB pc-5400 ddr2.

i tried to overclock the proc. (stock at 2.8ghz) and the limit i can use is 235mhz fsb (from 2.8ghz to 3.2ghz).

my question is, is there any posible way to increase more or the motherboard can only overclock up to 235mhz only.

Have you been watching your temps? What kind of cooling do you have on that?

Those D model pentiums were toasters!!!! :)

That would be my first guess as to what could be holding you back.

@3.2 ghz, using zalman 9700led it hits 42 at idle mode and 46 in full load. any reasons why it cannot go higher using p5b-vm do motherboard?
