Default e6600 overclocking

Alright so i have my e6600 running at 3.3ghz with 1.4v and according to coretemp my temps are hovering around 54 degrees and I have just installed a Sunbeam Tuniq with AS5 paste.. Now is it me or are these temps considerably high for this type of a overclock? I'm thinking of pulling the heatsink and cpu and lapping them both to make sure for flatness.

Those temps are normal, nothing to worry about.

If thats idle temps then its a bit high. If its load then thats perfectly fine. About what mine does.

If you lapped the CPU and heastsink you'd definately see some nice results. The C2D IHS is quite curved so it would surely benefit from lapping.

Yah thats idle and I thought its a bit high. I'll be replacing the fan from the tuniq as soon as I figure out my damn power supply problems :(
