I7 860

Hey guys, would like to know how many of you have a 860 from witch batch and the higher they can get stable. For me it a L925B478T batch and 3.8 is almost the higher stable. All over this it will fail prime after few second.

Thx a lot

Mine is the same thus far, but I am still working on it. I can do 3.8 with low voltage (ran 8 hours OCCT last night) but above that something is throwing me instability. Memory related I think, will report back when I figure it out.

Yeah same thing for me after 11hour prime core 5+6(HT) stop working. I am looking for memory me to but I don;t think this is the issue. I have 1600Mhz trident and she can boot over 2000Mhz in 2 click. Well, I carry on my side to waiting if one of us can find something interesting.

drop your multi and retest and you will know if its mem/VTT issue or CPU.

i got mine to 4.1 any higher its just too hot for megahalems to handle while priming
taking ht off cuts another 10c off temps
i think most 860s should do 4.0

Mine is now pretyt hot under a NH-U12P but the 1156 mouting kit is coming from Sidewinder computer should arrive next week will see if that can do better to.
