errr... yeah... that'd be it for sure! The 'ol 'VTT in the PLL'...

I have no idea what you're talking about LoL. Clearly my O/C knowledge doesn't extend that far. But the e5200 looks to be a good option in the right price bracket.

I have an E2160 right now that I run at 3.33 GHz (370x9) on my Gigabyte EP35-DS3R. I think I'm at 1.425 volts after v droop. It runs nice and cool to with the OCZ vendetta, ~ 50 degrees under load

The E6300 wolfdale I used to have had no problem hitting 4 GHz at 400*10

Very similar chip to my old e4400 1MB cache less, but otherwise the same? Same board too P5K-E funny it would max out at 2.8. It should be able to do 3GHz IMO without much work, have mine at 333x9 vcore at 1.320 in bios I believe, 1.288 in CPU-Z.
