My System Specs

Default OCing an 8800TS

I currently have an 8800GTS with 320MB running stock, but I want to get slightly better PPD. I don't really game much right now just so you know.
current settings are core: 580MHz memory: 900MHz and shaders:1500

Rip that suckers stock heatsink off and slap a big fat 120mm fan on it. That will drop temps like crazy and from there on use EVGA Precision to OC it like mad! Since you're a 'folder' the only OC that matter are your shaders. Up the shader clock little by little and check how your PPD comes along. If you start getting 'unstable machine' errors you need to back it down a bit.

ok cool I already have a thermalright HR-03 cooler with 2 92mm fans on it, so cooling is no issue. I was just thinking that you would have to increase other things incrementally with the shaders.

are you supposed to use a program within the OS to OC a GPU? because I cant find any settings in the BIOS to change stuff with the GPU.
EDIT: I found it, how far could i push it probably before it starts becoming unstable? like going up to 1600MHz or going up to 2000-2500?
