Default Thermal room on i7 920 @ 4.00

so i just pushed my 920 to 4.00 Ghz and am reciving a temp of about 70 acrossed all the cores under Prime 95 load. Should i clock it down or is this a safe place to be right now?

I wouldn't worry until it hits 85C.

which prime95 test are you doing, each stress the cpu differently and those are good temps. Hopefully your ram voltage and FSB aren't above the manufac recommended

what should my core VTT be at right now im +150MV

found out my VTT should be +250... fixed, retesting on prime

iv pushed myself back to my stable 3.2 Ghz clocking i mean all i bought a 920 for was to subvert intels crazy pricing, and with 3.2 Ghz iv saved myself over 1000$. Honestly 3.2 is a good speed for a gamer across 4 (8) cores.

only thing i forgot to do is reset my fans PWM temp ranges haha.. but 61C on 700RPM
