Default Timings for my 2x2GB Redlines on a 750i FTW. Also, voltage questions.

Running a q6700 at 3.3
wondering what kind of timings i should use with this setupp. Have my mem voltages at 2.1v, and all my other voltages at auto.

I realize that the voltages on auto aren't good for one's CPU/other settings.
What should i have mine set to? According to CPU-Z, my q6700 at load is running approx 1.24v

EDIT: BSOD 2 hours into Prime 95 small ftt's.
updated my voltages:

CPU Core - 1.434
CPU FSB - 1.30
Memory - 2.1
NFORCE SPP - 1.45
NF200 - 1.30

Will test agian.
Also, the ram/cpu freq's are linked at a 3:2 ratio.
Cheers

small ftt fail usually indicates that your CPU is unstable.

Menu > Advanced Chipset Features > FSB & Memory Config > Memory Timing Setting
tCL (CAS Latency): 5
tRCD: 5
tRP: 5
tRAS: 12
Command Per Clock (CMD): 2T

** Advanced Memory Settings **
tRRD: 4(3-4)
tRC: 31 (26 if maximum value)
tWR: 6(5-6)
tWTR: 11(9-11)
tREF: Auto (7.8us)

*I recommend
tRRD: 3
tRC: 24-26
tWR: 6
tWTR: 11
tREF: 7.8us

Menu > Advanced Chipset Features > System Voltages
Memory: 2.1v
nForce SPP: start from 1.35v, increase if needed

Menu > Advanced Chipset Features > FSB & Memory Config
FSB - Memory Clock Mode: Linked for better performance, unlinked for stability
MEM (DDR), Mhz: 1000mhz or 1066mhz

-Redlines usually can do 1066mhz.
-The CPU voltage is high enough already, but CPU FSB voltage can be raised though. 1.4v seems to be the sweet spot for your FSB
-Disable Intel Speedstep and C1E function
-PCI-e Frequency 100, or 101
-You shouldn't need to play with the GTL voltages just yet.

okay sounds good. do you start from high to low in regards to core voltage?

I made some changes while you posted btw.

Yes for the 65nm Quad you should start your voltage at 1.35ish for that FSB, I recommend using a good FSB number like 333mhz for 333x10 effective.

Just start at 1.35, and work your way up.

Remember, that not all crashes are due to solely the CPU or RAM. Sometimes it's a combination of both. Make sure you try to eliminate possibilities of instability before you boost crazy voltages.

First overclock on a new platform/CPU is always overnight, at least 10 hours for me.

Run Prime95 Blend test.

I like to use nice numbers for day to day uses. 333mhz -> 400mhz.

Trust me, you'll be happy with 3.33ghz. Buy an SSD
