13500 does seem pretty low. If I can score ~11000 with the stuff in my sig, that's not much of an increase consider he has 2 much more powerful cards, and a Quad-Core CPU as well.

I've seen single 8800GTX setups score 13500...

BTW, are you referring to the 8800GTX or 8800GTS. You just state GT which does not exist.

Default its 8800GTX sorry!

I thought SLI would make more of difference-still think his scores a bit low given what single cards and dual cores can achieve. anyway the physics card is not being used for games it is used for "modelling". the computer works fine for its "working jobs" but needs to be optimised. anyway thanks for your feedback.....

I'm pretty sure most people use 3d Mark 05 when it comes time to benchmarking due to less restrictions on a video card.

Default ill see if i can get his 05 score later on

He was working on the rigs SLI... before his deployment to a nasty hot dry place but wont be back till the fall..hed asked me to look for suggestions here as he wasnt happy with the striker board ...im not sure about the whole SLI thing myself--shame they dont just concentrate on making one really good card, instead of encouraging buying pairs.
