Default Overclocking C2 Q9550 With MSI
I was trying to overclock my C2 Q9550 on my MSI P7M SLI board but everytime i would boot it. It would just freeze on booting my desktop. The first time i was overclocking, i used my BIOS, but then i relized my MSI came with Dual-Core Center. Yet it still froze when i tried to overclock. Any ideas?

Default
FSB?
Voltage?
Speed you're trying to acheive?
Ram, how much and what speed is it?
Cooling type?

It wouldn't hurt to list your system specs as your signature, can be very helpfuly in situations like these.

I at least want it over 3.0ghz, at least 3.2ghz.
Current voltage 1.144 V.

My System Specs

Default
Bump your vcore up to about 1.3v, then raise your FSB. Check your memory multiplier to make sure you're not trying to run your RAM too fast. I'd also set your RAM Voltage to 1.9-2.0 if it isn't already.

I just relized that i need to know alot more about my own system if i want to overclock. Time to read some guides.
