i should be in SK sometime this summer. i am thinking early August. perhaps we could arrange for a weekend event in Saskatoon or Regina if there is enough interest. i am still working on a few details as far as suppliers for LN2 go but i will be posting a thread when i have more details...so keep your eyes peeled for you guys out west.

at 5.2GHz, should be around 7.9ish seconds. here is one from my phase runs in the 975 review at 5.93GHz...don't seem to have anything right at 5.2GHz laying around.

BTW thats one mellow dog Jody.
i am thinking my next step is to start presenting video so i am on the verge of getting a video setup. when that happens there will be plenty of video coming from me and whoever wants to hang out.

I SOO want to put my phII under LN2 just to see what it can do.

Also: I noticed when you were running 3dmark06 that the visuals on-screen were reduced (like in the firefly forest, there was no forest, or any grass for that matter)
was this because of the overclocking? or did you reduce the details yourself to get a higher score?
if you are ever in London, it can definitely be arranged.

the detail levels are weird because of LOD. it doesn't really help much with 06 but can add a bit of stability. plus when benching, every little bit counts.

the benchmark was running on a 22" Dell E228WFP. cheap TN panel. it is beside a 20" so it makes it look like a 24"

Thanks for the shout out. ;) Yes, I was working on vacation....when hotels weren't charging between $20-$30 per day for internet access.
man, seeing you post anything when on a killer road trip like that is definitely taking the office with you to a whole new level...but was nice to hear from you on the road when we did. and yeah, LOD was set on the run hence the lower detail level.

We should definitely get a couple more people in for an event like this. I'm sure there are some townies close by that would like to see it up close and get to know the community a little better. As a plus too, Jody, your location is right on Richmond Row so we could go for a couple drinks after! That would be sweet.

If I record another video again I'll try and touch it up with some bling like FiXT's reviews, but I have no video editing skills whatsoever, let alone any programs to use. Like Jody said, we'll have a killer setup next time and we'll get some really nice scores going.

Nice. I wish I am close by so I can get my feet wet trying out LN2.

or I'll just wait 'til winter comes and do benches outdoors when temps hit -60C.

Speaking of those TWKR chips. I stumbled on this today via linkback: http://www.tomshardware.com/pictures...enom-twkr.html

Now, I hate Toms, with a (censoring alot of swear words) passion. But. Its a TWKR review under LN2. It almost makes it worth the read ;)
