Oc'ing a 4770
OK, WTH do I use to OC the snot out of my 4770 in Vista x64? Or maybe XP Pro? The CCC is limiting me to 830/850. The usual tools seem to be severly out of date.

A ha, I must check for updates for Rivatuner, not just check the last release date.

Stay tuned for the "I let the smoke out of my 4770 thread"

Will patiently wait for the smoke.

It should not be this freaking difficult to OC a video card! The 9.6 cats don't seem to be compatible.

Have I ever mentioned, I HATE Vista....

Did I mention, I hate Vista, oh wait. 9.5 Cat's didn't recognize the 4770, so I put the 9.6's back in and suddenly rivatuner allowed me to OC.

At 840/1050 which seem to be the max without volt mods my Vantage score zipped up to:

ORB - Compare 8478 from 7393 at stock (um what are the stock clocks again?)

In which the GPU score defeats the best run of CF'd 3870's I ever had. I'll have to see if I can do a 3.8Ghz CPU run with these clocks.
