Default So The i7 Overclocking Begins...

Hey guys hows it goin. I got all my computer together and I believe that I'm ready to begin overclocking. I recently installed my Thermalright TRUE 1366 and IC Diamond7 Carat thermal paste. On full load with Prime 95 for an hour my CPU ran from 55-58c. Unfortunatly I do operate in a very warm room which likes to go from 26-29c which sucks. I am new to overclocking so I am still learning along the way. I am hoping to get to at least 3.5ghz. I will be updating this thread along the way. I am using EVGA E-Leet to overclock, Prime95 to test and RealTemp to monitor temperatures.

First Overclocking:
2.997.1~58-61c (stock voltages)
3198.7~60-65c (stock voltages)
3319.7~60-66c (stock voltages)
3412~crash(stock voltages)
I'm going to input this into the BIOS then begin again.

why does he have to be asking for help? and why the need for the entire BIOS template? he is posting the relevant voltages and his clocks. his numbers mean what they should mean, to me at least, thanks for posting and keep the clocks going...looking good so far

3oh.....a tad more clarity is what I like to look at ....are those all idle or load temps?? What is "Stock"...from what I've seen VID is different for many Chips....

btw.....did you get your mitts on that Waterblock for your Classified Northbridge?...if so how did you find your Temps afterwards? I've been away for the month at work but prior to leaving I was playing around with both 40mm and 60mm fans on my Northbridge with not a whole lot of success in pulling down the Temps..

Evga X58 utilize a Fan for cooling NB...Classified NB is "passive"...
At present from Cold Boot to BIOS NB Temp is around 58c
After intense gaming...restart to BIOS NB Temp around 67c
Not sure what it is hitting while actually gaming....(not sure if I really want to know )
